I recently saw a commercial for McDonald's new "McSkilet" sandwich, and the song that plays in the background sounds suspiciously like Electric Light Orchestra's "Mr. Blue Sky." My guess is that there are enough changes for it to be sufficiently different, but the intro percussion is almost identical. At the very least, the composers of this particular piece of music were
highly influenced by "Mr. Blue Sky." I'm just saying.
Just in case Jeff Lynne (or whoever owns the ELO catalog) is looking for a lawyer right now, I'm available (and a fan).
